Babe is a very laid-back Standardbred mare with a sweet, easygoing personality. We purchased her in 2021 as our first Standardbred broodmare. She came from an Amish farm, where she previously worked as a cart horse.

Unfortunately, her breeding did not take this year, and with four other broodmares, we’ve decided it’s time to find Babe a new home. We are downsizing our herd as we approach retirement and want to find her a home where she will be appreciated.

Babe is low-key in the paddock and generally minds her own business. She is non-aggressive with other horses and has been a wonderful companion mare to our yearling. She seems to really enjoy this role and would make a great companion for another horse.
