I need to thin the herd out a bit and have this guy that would love a person of his own. Flashy gelding up for discussion as a fun project for someone to finish out as a well rounded horse. He is solid in many ways but could still use some time put into him to build his confidence and further his training. He was a late start but has come along way in a short amount of time. Approximately 6yrs old and 15hh he’s got a nice build and solid feet. Unfortunately we got him with a large knee and although normally it doesn’t seem to be an issue when used on steep rough terrain and long days working cattle he did get sore. We would still be using him for that if it was not the case. That ranch type of work is most of his training at this time. He’s been fully shod in the past, hauls well and is relatively easy to add to a herd. He has been sitting for and bit but I don’t believe it would take much to get him going. I feel he needs a person with a good amount of horse sense not necessarily and expert rider as he’s been pretty easy and straight forward under saddle. He is current on vaccines but due for a teeth float. Between all that I will be asking 25🥕🥕’s firm. Located in Dolan Springs, Az and hauling is available within reason.
