Rip is a charming 4-year-old, 15.2hh gelding with lovely natural balance, a floaty trot, an exceptionally smooth canter, and a goofy personality that makes him impossible not to like.
He is curious and thoughtful about new things and genuinely tries to understand what his rider is asking. Rip has also been ridden successfully by an adult amateur and is developing into a very enjoyable young horse with plenty of potential for dressage or another discipline.
He is a good boy on the trails and, while he can occasionally get nervous about something new—as you would expect from a four-year-old—what impresses us most is how well he listens, thinks through it, and recovers. His trail video gives a great example of exactly that.
For someone looking for a talented young horse with beautiful movement, a willing mind, trail experience, and a whole lot of personality, Rip is an exciting horse to continue developing.
