Bonitaz is a 5 year old Percheron/Paint Cross mare; registered with the Percheron Crossbred Registry.
Affectionately know as Bo at the barn, this beautiful bay roan mare is looking for her “person” to have a lifetime of adventures with.
Bo is UTD on all cares, and she is well behaved for the vet and farrier. She has no known health or soundness issues, and is in front shoes due to her training schedule. She is easy to handle on the ground, stands to be groomed, saddled and for bathing. She loads and trailers well alone & with company.
Bo has been carefully started under saddle. We have been patient to develop her without pushing her too hard. She seems to really enjoy her arena work & really comes to life when out on adventures. She has 3 comfortable gaits & is working to become a solid citizen. She rides the trails alone & with company. She has been exposed to several different outings to help her gain confidence in many different environments; such as trail riding, Cross Country Schooling, a few fox hunts, and a couple schooling days at Tryon International Equestrian Center. All that being said, she is a young mare & needs support and continued development from her person.
Around the barn Bo is a complete ham. She has a large & super fun personality and loves attention.
At home, Bo has plenty of turnout with the option to hang in her stall. She is at her best when she has plenty of mental stimulation; with work, communal turnout, and a fair amount of attention.
Bo’s ideal person would be a true partner in all respects. Someone that can appreciated her fun personality, that wants to ham it up around the stable and go on fun adventures.
