Are you going to be in Prescott, AZ at the Prescott rodeo grounds for the Olsen’s Equifest or the Legacy Ranch horse auction on Sept 19? while you're in town, you could take a break from the action and come see/try out this awesome Ranch Riding/Reiner horse available in Prescott Valley. Gorgeous AQHA NRHA buckskin is looking for a new home. He was a money winning (over $4100) Reiner and now he is in training/ready to show in Ranch Riding. If you’re looking for a super handsome, safe, sound gelding here is your guy. Charming is a show stopper with a ton of appeal! He lopes around cute, classy, smooth, and easy on a draped rein. Comfy jog that easily extends into a huge trot, with seamless lope off departures. He has easy flying changes, good speed control, and more whoa then go. This guy has all the bells & whistles to satisfy any rider but is still safe. Ride Charming every day or let him sit for a week, you'll have the same horse. On the ground, Charming is just that. He loves people and will tie, bathe, clip, spray, stand for the farrier etc. The one thing he isn't crazy about is lunging - it's too much work. Good thing he doesn't need it. I bought Charming 5 years ago to turn him into a ranch riding horse but life got in the way and he is just now finishing his ranch riding training. He is currently in professional training. This wonderful gelding loves other horses and does well in a stall or turned out. He is sound and requires no maintenance. I have kept him barefoot for years but he seems to go better in shoes and is currently shod and up to date. He is also current on vaccines. Please note that this video is from my arena which has very deep sand especially at one end. Sometimes it looks like he's struggling to get through and I can't really slide in the sand either. Here is a link to an older competition video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJmniXDUw-U&t=28s I am only selling him because I have decided to change disciplines.
