Layla is a very sweet horse who would work well with an intermediate-to-advanced rider. She is timid and needs time to bond with her rider. Before we purchased her, Layla had a trainer she adored, and they did some very nice Western work. I have been transitioning her to English and Dressage, but unfortunately I just had major hip surgery and probably will not be able to ride her for months, and then not consistently enough.

Layla has one allele of the MYHM gene, as shown on the AQHA DNA panel. She showed some signs of "tying up" several times. We have added supplements and amino acids to help her, and she does well when she stays in regular work.

I would love to find someone to free-lease Layla; your barn is fine.
