Ginger is a five year old Quarter Horse mare. She has been ridden for a year with general training. She's been to a few horse shows, shown in horsemanship, trail, reining, ranch riding and halter. She has been out on many trail rides, ponied other horses, and even gone swimming at the lake. She stands tied, trailers well, does well for the farrier, although we keep her barefoot. She is sound, UTD on deworming and vaccinations.
She is ready to go in whatever direction you want to take her in.
We did just start her in a shank bit and she is doing quite well with neck-reining. She has a good head on her shoulders-if she is afraid of something-say a windmill-she stops and lets you work her though it until she isn't scared anymore and then the next time she sees it, it's like she's an old pro.
