Laughing Into the Bank (“Gem”) is the sweetest girl with all the athletic ability and versatility to go in any direction. I think she has the makings of an exceptional event horse.
Gem is a 6-year-old, 16h Thoroughbred mare who is green but incredibly willing, caddy, and quick to learn. She is not fully started under saddle yet, but she is proving to be a straightforward and sensible mare to bring along. She is not spooky and has been confidently introduced to lunging over liverpools, trot poles, and cavalettis, as well as hacking through water.
She cross-ties like a champ, loves attention and cuddles, and is good to trailer and pull. She hacks out well, stands quietly at the mounting block, and has a great attitude toward her work.
Gem has had ample let-down time and has recently begun her restart with the basics. She has a lovely foundation to continue building on and would be a very exciting prospect for someone looking for a talented young Thoroughbred to develop into a competitive partner.
