Dizzy is a 4 year old brown dun mare who has been a joy to own. Due to no fault of her own we have been slow to start her and therefore are offering her in our downsizing efforts. She is responding well and with a confident leader is conquering any insecurities. Dizzy currently weighs in at 1040lbs. She is still a little overweight but is now being worked regularly as well as being monitored on her feed. She can be stalled, let into a pasture or turned out on a dry lot (Note that she will gain and become obese if turned out on pasture for too long). She has been kept in a herd setting primarily and can be housed with other mares, foals, or geldings. She is UTD on her shots and Farrier care and is easy for my vet and farrier to catch and handle as necessary. She is a water lover, however, is not the biggest fan of Fly Spray. She is currently stalled overnight in a 16x20 fully covered and matted stall and fed in evening and morning before being turned out for the day on dry lot with the rest of my mares. She is stalled between a fair heifer on one side (and the rest of the cow herd behind her) and a gelding, there is a stud on the other side of the gelding and all behave perfectly. Dizzy was originally purchased to be an addition to my breeding program and to be bred to my stallion Locke. Dizzy can sell open or bred if desired. We will continue to work with her until sold however her price will reflect any further training. Dizzy has been desensitized to vehicles, large farm equipment, cattle, sheep, goats, chickens, geese, dogs, and children. I have messed with her udder, belly, ears, legs and tail without any issue. She has already been saddled and bridled without issue, and we will be starting on ground driving in a few weeks.
