Lily is a 2-year-old Welsh cross currently standing approximately 46" and expected to mature around 48". She has had approximately 120 days of thoughtful training and has been exposed to an incredible amount for her age. Lily trail rides alone and in groups, crosses water, climbs hills, rides through the woods, and handles new environments willingly. She has attended local fun shows and the county fair, where she handled the noise, activity, other horses, livestock, crowds, and being stalled away from home. Under saddle, Lily will walk, trot and lope, stay on the rail for pleasure classes, run gaming patterns, maneuver trail obstacles, go over ground poles and small jumps, and ride bareback. She has also been ridden double, ponied from another horse, and used for lead-line rides. On the ground, Lily is personable and loves attention. She comes to the gate, stands for grooming and tacking, accepts fly spray, loads and hauls, and can be stalled or live outside. She is structurally correct and has consistently done well in halter classes. We have intentionally exposed Lily to as much as possible. She has crossed bridges and tarps, dragged objects, carried balloons, opened gates from horseback, ridden around farm equipment and distractions, and handled the kind of commotion that comes with life on a busy farm. Most importantly, Lily has consistently shown us try. She is willing, sensible, curious, and trainable. She has never offered to buck, bolt, or rear. Lily is still only two years old and should not be mistaken for a finished beginner pony. She is best suited for a confident rider, or knowledgeable family who can continue her education appropriately. With her size, temperament, versatility, and foundation, she has the potential to become an exceptional all-around youth pony. Up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof care. Located near Minneapolis/ St. Paul MN (on the Wisconsin side of the river).
