Kalena has beautiful, smooth gaits with potential for dressage, has participated in a working equitation clinic this summer, and most recently has been hitting the trails. She approaches new obstacles and experiences with curiosity and stays engaged with her rider.
She is not a hot horse and has a good head on her shoulders. Kalena is thoughtful and sensible, but appreciates a confident rider in unfamiliar situations who can give her direction and reassurance. She continues to think and engage rather than becoming overly reactive, and we believe she will really shine with someone who enjoys developing a relationship with their horse.

Kalena has successfully produced multiple foals and was an excellent mother. We are fortunate to have one of her daughters here at Demi Solaire, and she is an absolute family favorite. Her daughter has also developed into an exceptionally tall Morgan, making Kalena’s 15.3hh size particularly interesting for someone interested in producing larger Morgans.

Kalena carries a beautifully concentrated SYLR Tomoros pedigree, with established Morgan bloodlines represented on both sides. Her breeding reflects generations of selection for the substance, versatility, movement, and character that has made the classic Morgan a treasured American breed.
