Anyone looking for a fun size project you can spin your way? This girl is CUTE and could go just about any way you want with the right set of hands. I have never met a more willing little mare who just wants to please. Born on Christmas Eve, she's a truly special little mare. Her Arab side is stacked with solid Crabbet breeding - the lineage of Arabians known for their level-headedness and hard-working nature. I see her being a PHENOMENAL all-around horse. Western or English, Ranch or Dressage, even a hunter over fences or little cross-country pony. She would make a great 4h horse after a little more guidance from a trainer. Honeycrisp is green under saddle and currently backs, walks, trots, and canters. She understands the beginnings of lateral work and has a solid foundation. She has been out of consistent work for a little while, so she will benefit from someone ready to bring her back into a regular program. She is currently being ridden twice per week. Temperament & Suitability: Honeycrisp is not suitable for a complete beginner. Like many Haflingers, she is intelligent and can have opinions. Does best with a confident leader, otherwise she may become sticky about moving forward or test her rider. She does best with an experienced, confident rider who can provide clear, consistent direction. Highlights & Handling ● Sweet, affectionate mare who loves attention ● Has been turned out with both mares and geldings (even a miniature mule) ● Currently stalled, though I believe 24/7 turnout with shelter would be her preferred arrangement ● Stands tied, no pull back - she will paw if she gets too bored ● Consistently around cats, chickens, goats, traffic, dogs, farm equipment ● Regular Vet and Farrier upkeep ● Up‑to‑date on vaccines Videos available to those seriously interested. PPE welcome at buyer's expense. Negotiable to perfect home.
