I never expected to be doing this, but I’ve made the difficult decision to offer these two wonderful boys to a new home.
They came into my life this spring when I needed a little something to help heal my heart after losing my heart horse. Turns out, two tiny donkeys with HUGE personalities were pretty good medicine.
They aren’t related, but they are incredibly bonded best buddies, so they will stay together.

🖤 Bandit — 34”, black
Both are registered geldings and microchipped, with paperwork in hand.
They load easily, are good boys for hoof trims, and have excellent, correct feet. No bad habits, no biting or kicking.
Bandit has never met a stranger. If you come to visit, he’ll probably assume you came specifically to see him.
Smokey likes to size you up for a minute first, but once he realizes there are scratches and attention involved, he’s right there too. They both absolutely LOVE people and attention.
They’re still young enough that there are so many directions someone could take them. Whether you want to teach them to drive, pack, navigate obstacles, become the cutest beverage burros around, or simply enjoy them as two very entertaining pasture companions, they’re a really fun pair with lots of potential.
I adore these two, so I’m not going to let them go just anywhere. I’d love to find someone who sees all the possibilities in them and will enjoy, work with, and spoil them as much as I have.
Sometimes circumstances change and we have to make difficult decisions we never planned on making. This is definitely one of those.
