Tia Mayin is a 5-year-old bay OTTB mare whom I purchased in February after she had only a few rides off the track.

Tia loves trail riding and is confident in busy environments. She does not spook, rides calmly near traffic, and has even been ridden Western on several tame cattle drives. She is comfortable around dogs, chainsaws, lawn mowers, and distractions.
She is VERY brave to jumps and willing to answer the question in front of her. Tia has shown at 2'3", schooled 2'6", and continues gaining confidence. She has jumped brush, flowers, colored barrels, and cross-country-style fences confidently. She could advance with an eventer or make a lovely hunter with additional training.

Tia can become strong on a jump course without a confident rider, but she is forgiving and often covers rider mistakes. She does well with juniors, although someone with a solid position and strong seat will get the most from her. Her flatwork is still developing, and she requires correct aids. She has never bucked, bolted, or run out and rarely refuses unless the approach is unsafe.

She cribs, although a collar helps, and loves splashing in water troughs. Tia currently lives outside 24/7 with pasture mates on grass. She is barefoot with fantastic feet and is a very easy keeper.

Tia recently attended what may have been her first show and was truly fantastic. She stayed overnight without issues, handled the experience well, and trailered with unfamiliar horses. She is easy to load and has excellent ground manners. She falls in the middle of the pasture pecking order, gets along with everyone, and is not buddy sour.

A trial and pre-purchase exam are welcome. I did not complete a PPE before purchasing her, so I have no radiographs available, but she has had no soundness or significant health issues. She once developed hives from a hay preservative, which cleared within two nights with allergy medication.
