Remi is an oversized big hunk of a paint who just thinks he should crawl in your pocket and live there. He is the sweetest of guys, the first to meet you at the gate, and is just a pleasure to work with in every way. Bonus— he is absolutely STUNNING to look at!! Remi was broke last year and had 7mo of pro training put on him, in the ring and cross country— alone and with others. He is quiet, willing, and very reasonable undersaddle. He crosses water and will pop over a log etc. He could use a bit of a tune up currently as he sat most of the summer (though no fault of his own). He is the type that goes right back to work though with no fuss or silly games. .. just a bit out of shape.
We would love to get him miles and experience as a foxhunter with a capable individual. While he is probably safe for advanced beginner… we would prefer him go to someone a little more experienced for his first season of foxhunting or hill topping to make sure it’s the best of experiences for him. Remi is 100% sound, a super easy keeper (eats a ton of hay though— only handful of grain) and is barefoot with great feet. He currently lives out 24/7 but he is totally fine with coming in to a stall. Loads and trailers well. Just a total gem of a horse.
We would also be open to him going out and doing low level eventing or maybe some dressage. He would also be a blast to break to drive— but he is not currently broke to do so! Vaulting would be right up his alley as well!
Not really looking to sell, but it could be a possibility for the absolute perfect situation down the road. Not promises on that at this moment though— we love him too much!!
