Sam, also known as “Samatha I Am,” is a registered 11 year old Rocky Mountain mare and one of the sweetest mares we own. She stands 14.3 and is very people oriented. Sam has great ground manners, she stands tied, stands to have her hooves trimmed and loads in the trailer with no hesitation.
Her silver dapple coloring gives her a chocolate body with a flaxen mane and tail.
Sam has an incredibly smooth walk that makes her comfortable to ride all day. She is extremely sure-footed on trails and has been exposed to wildlife, traffic, and water crossings.
Her gait is relaxed and steady, and she can maintain it for as long as you want. She has been trail-ridden in Florida, Iowa, Illinois, and South Dakota.
