# JAXS – 15-Year-Old Buckskin Gelding

**Approximately 15 Hands | Grade Quarter Horse | Seasoned Trail Horse**

Jaxs is a 15-year-old, approximately 15H gelding with an athletic build, a beautiful thick tail, and a long mane. He is a seasoned, disciplined trail horse with a great work ethic who enjoys having a job.

Jaxs has energy and enjoys getting out and stretching his legs. He will move out when asked and slow right back down, with an **EXCELLENT whoa/stop!** He is not a horse that needs to be constantly pushed along. He has a controlled canter/lope with voice and rein cues and has never offered to buck or bolt.

He confidently rides out alone through open fields and woods, crosses water, and is respectful around livestock, including cattle and dogs.

**His ground manners are EXCELLENT!** He stands completely still for saddling, cleaning his feet, and bathing. He walks right up to the mounting block and ground ties well.

Jaxs is an easy keeper with no special maintenance requirements. He wears front shoes due to the rocky terrain on my farm, but his feet are solid and in great condition.

Jaxs is a horse that enjoys having a job and would be a great match for someone who appreciates a responsive horse with a little more energy. He is not a horse that needs constant encouragement to move forward.

**Reason for selling:** I have another horse that requires more of my time and attention. Jaxs deserves someone who can give him the consistent riding and attention he enjoys.
