Radiance is a lovely lusitano 5- year-old mare. Out of imported parents hailing from Brazil and Portugal, she is a perfect size at 15.3 with good bone and correct structure. Due to no fault of her own, she was started under saddle later, summer 2026, but is proving to be a wonderful riding partner. Radiance displays an ideal temperament. She is calm, quiet and gentle yet maintains that lovely lusitano sensitivity that makes them so trainable and responsive. Radiance has been started in a traditional ranch riding setting but would excel in a dressage or working equitation career. Radiance has been ridden out on the trail and in the arena. She has lovely, smooth gaits. She crosses water, has been exposed to cattle, is comfortable with dogs and kids in and around her. She has taken all the new experiences we have given her in stride and is very level headed and not spooky. She stands tied, loads and rides well in a trailer, good to trim and worm. She is an all around good citizen! This is a kind-hearted mare that loves people and attention and will make somebody a wonderful life-long partner. She is still very green, so we would not recommend her for an inexperienced rider, but we do feel she is amateur friendly for somebody working alongside a professional to bring her along. She will continue to be ridden until sold. Price will increase with further training.
