Ken “Kenny” — 2½-Year-Old Tennessee Walking Horse Gelding

Meet Ken, a 2½-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding with a great personality, a willing attitude, and a whole lot of potential.

Kenny is a cremello gelding who is currently standing 14.3 hands and is still growing. He is an exceptionally smart young horse who picks things up quickly and genuinely enjoys interacting with people. He has been handled extensively and has a solid foundation on the ground. He leads quietly, including alongside the four-wheeler, backs readily from pressure, and stands well for bathing and general handling.

He has been introduced to saddling and has been exposed to a variety of new situations. He also knows a few fun tricks, including picking up objects and handing them to you, stepping onto small platforms, and smiling on cue. He is curious, engaged, and always ready to learn something new.

Kenny’s first rides will begin this coming week, and his training will continue from there. He is being brought along with an emphasis on building a good foundation and teaching him to be a willing, confident partner.

Like any 2½-year-old gelding, Kenny is still growing up and learning his manners. He can be playful and mouthy at times, so he will need someone who understands that he is a young horse and is willing to continue his education.

He is current on vaccinations and farrier work.

Kenny is unregistered and is being offered as a young prospect with a lot of potential. With his intelligence, personality, and willingness to learn, he could be a very nice horse for someone looking for a young Tennessee Walker to develop and finish in their own direction.
