Meet Latte she is a 15 yr old gaited Missouri Fox Trotter mare standing 14.2 hands tall. Latte is short but stout so she’s able to carry a bigger rider. I think she’s a handy size. And the all around perfect package with how smooth she is.
Latte will go anywhere down the trail. She is GREAT out on the trails. She will cross the wooden bridges, creeks, rivers, big logs, etc. She is fine with a doggy sidekick running beside her and she’s seen wildlife out on the trail. She’s NOT easily spooked. And she’ll go right up/down the steep banks and hills with no problems.
She rides fine with other horses, but she can ride out alone too and will separate away from the other horses. She will lead or follow, but prefers to follow because she’s slower usually.
She’s not your typical fast gaited horse she has a slower gait that I think is more enjoyable and an easy ride. She can walk out faster though like most gaited horses do. And her canter is a tiny little slow canter that is very smooth.
She stands excellent to get on and has good ground manners. Stands great for the farrier. Loads right up in the trailer and backs right out. Good for getting tacked up. Gets along in the herd. She’s an easy keeper NO maintenance required.
She comes up to date on shots, dewormings, farrier, and I do have the vet scheduled to do coggins and a basic checkup. Just call if interested two three one 670-7101
