Meet Poppy. She is a thick bodied, correct legged filly. Both parents are 5 panel negative. Her sire is a half sibling to Frenchman’s Guy, and he has produced American qualifiers with minimal foal crops.
Poppy’s mom is a half sibling to millionaire barrel horse sensation ADIOS PANTALONES, and she is out of a multiple stakes winning mare that has an SI of 103. Poppy’s mom was a money earner in barrel racing, prior to her injury. Her first foal is a 3 year old and is in barrel training and doing very well. Her third foal by PCR Pink Cadillac was sold as a baby. She is in very capable hands and we expect great things from this stunning filly.
Poppy has spent most of her life out on pasture with her peers. We brought her in the main barn a few weeks ago to begin groundwork in preparation to start under saddle. Super smart girl. She learned how to lunge with ease, and could care less when she was saddled for the first time. Very athletic, pretty moving filly. She has the pedigree to add to your breeding program someday.
