Training:
Rae has had significant training to help her develop into a well-rounded young horse. Rae is currently schooling second level dressage with a professional trainer. She has a solid walk, trot, and canter and knows her lateral moves and transitions. She shimmies right up to the mounting block and stands politely. Her initial professional training was western focused on wilderness trails and camping, roping/sorting, reining, and showmanship. This summer Rae went overnight camping, and was ridden in the bay and on the beach with her Morgan buddies, preferring to lead the group. She loads and hauls on her own or with friends. She ties, stands for the farrier, vet, bathing and is unfazed by vaccinations and dental work.

Health:
Currently standing at over 15h, Rae is conformationally correct, athletic and well muscled with a developed topline. She is sound and has solid, perfect, barefoot hooves. She does have a congenital or juvenile cataract in her right eye. It does not appear to affect her and her left eye is clear. She’s an easy keeper and her diet consists of grass hay, Horse Guard supplement, magnesium supplement, and an ulcer preventative. She’s up to date on all routine care.

Temperament:
A barn favorite, Rae is always first at the gate to meet you with her big, bold, boss mare energy. She’s intelligent and curious and while not typically hot headed or spooky, she can be spicy, boundary pushing, mouthy, and animated. Because of this, she requires consistent, experienced, aware, and confident handling both in and out of the saddle. Rae is definitely at her best when in daily or near daily work and daily turnout. She is dominant in a herd setting.

PPE at buyer’s expense is welcome. Rae will remain in training until sold. Serious inquiries only please. Coat color genetically verified.
