If you are looking for one that has all the looks, pedigree, and foundation to go in nearly any direction, Izzy checks every box. This Chicks Smokn, affectionately known as "Izzy," is an absolutely striking jet-black mare without a white hair on her. She is the kind that immediately catches your eye with her deep, glossy black color and feminine yet powerful build. Izzy is beautifully balanced from front to back, with a refined head, clean neck, strong shoulder, deep hip, and plenty of shape through her hindquarter. She has that sleek, classy look that is hard to overlook and the pedigree to match.
Izzy is sired by the legendary A Vintage Smoke, a Triple Crown Winner with lifetime earnings of $600,650 and already $1.3 Million in Progeny Earnings. On the bottom side, she is out of Stylish Gunner Chick, an accomplished mare with $9,193.97 in lifetime earnings. With proven performers on both sides of her pedigree, Izzy combines the bloodlines, athleticism, and eye appeal sought after in a serious performance prospect.
She isn't just a pretty face, either. Izzy has received seven months of professional reining training, giving her a great foundation and a solid start toward a performance career. She is talented, athletic, and has the kind of background that could make her an exciting addition to a variety of programs. Whether someone wants to continue developing her in the reining pen or take her talents in another direction, there is plenty here to work with.
Izzy has also been ridden extensively outside of the arena and is enjoyable out on the trails. She will cross water, travel across bridges, and confidently navigate rough and varying terrain. That outside experience combined with her professional training has given her a well-rounded foundation beyond simply riding circles in an arena.
Proven pedigree, professional training, versatility, and all the looks in the world-Izzy is the complete package with an exciting future ahead of her.
