✨ INTRODUCING GHOST ✨ 4-Year-Old Grade Appaloosa Gelding | 14.3 HH Ghost is the kind of young gelding that has all the right pieces to make someone an incredibly nice horse. At just 4 years old, he has already been exposed to a lot and continues to impress us with his level-headed, willing attitude and desire to please. Ghost is an awesome little trail horse. He is calm, sensible and comfortable riding anywhere in the lineup—front, middle or back. He has been exposed to barking dogs, flags, bridges, trash, ropes, quads and plenty of everyday commotion, and he handles it all well. He has a naturally gentle and kind demeanor and genuinely wants to do right by his rider. Ghost is more woah than go and does best with a soft, encouraging hand. He will look to his rider for confidence when he’s unsure, but he’s willing to try just about anything you ask of him. Ghost has also had a nice start toward becoming a versatile all-around horse. He has been started roping in the field but has not been in the box. He has been introduced to collection and spinning and currently has a slow, fluid spin to the left, while his right side still needs more finishing. One of our favorite things about Ghost is his mind. He recently sat for approximately three months, then came back out and rode off with zero issues. This is a young gelding with a great foundation and plenty of potential left to develop. With continued training, we could really see Ghost excelling as a rodeo prospect, versatile ranch-type horse, or simply becoming an outstanding all-around mount for someone looking for a horse they can enjoy in a variety of settings. At only 4 years old, the hard part has been started—you get to decide where he goes from here. Offered on consignment with R n R Ranch LLC located in Phelan, California
