Silver is a 5yr old Grulla Quarter Horse cross mare standing around 14.2-14.3 hands tall. She gets along well in the herd and is in the middle of the pecking order. She is friendly and easy to catch with a curious personality and likes to come out to see what you’re doing in her pasture.

She has good ground manners and stands excellent for the farrier. She loads right up and backs right out of the trailer and hauls well. She will go anywhere down the trail over the little wooden bridges, through the creeks, rivers, and over the big logs. She’ll hop right up a steep bank or pick her way down carefully.

She is a very sensible level headed mare that puts up with my antics. Her trot is smooth and easy to sit or post to her canter is also very smooth. She moves off of the leg and started on neck reining. She will lead or follow out on the trail and will separate out on the trail as well. She is mostly ridden out alone so she is fine to leave home alone.

She’s NOT easily spooked and is used to a doggy sidekick following along behind her and running full blast up at her sometimes. She stands really well for mounting. She’s NOT hot, but she’s not a deadhead either she’s a good medium pace. And the longest ride she’s been on is 15 miles and she handled the miles just fine.
