Lyrik, registered as Billy The Kid II WF, is a 14-year-old chestnut Hanoverian by Benidetto (Belisimo M) out of Hot Mama (Hotline). He is an elegant, refined gelding with lots of flash. He is trained in all Third Level movements and a good start on his flying changes.
He loves people and thrives with a consistent routine. Lyrik has some quirks and needs a confident, patient rider who can provide clear guidance. His ideal match is a dedicated person in a regular training program who enjoys building a relationship alongside their riding goals.
We also want to be open about his health history. Lyrik had colic surgery over three years ago and has done well since, with no further colic episodes reported during that time (he had colopexy to make sure no further flips could happen). He recently had his hocks injected, which is his first joint maintenance to date. His current shoeing includes a 2-degree wedge pad on the right front foot to help correct hoof angle, and he is barefoot behind. Don't hesitate to ask for records and any information that I can give you.
Finding the right home is a priority, and we’re happy to discuss his personality, care needs, and health history in detail with interested buyers.
