This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write. Hope, 18 yrs old registered quarter horse Tabiano Palomino Paint, has been a huge part of our family and my daughter’s OHSET journey for the past four years. She is the kind of horse you can load up and take just about anywhere, and she has given my daughter memories and accomplishments that will last a lifetime. 🏆 Proven OHSET horse My daughter has qualified for State the last three years, and this past year they went on to Regionals together. She also won four belt buckles this last year with Hope. 🐮 Hope is a definite cow horse. Put her on cattle and she absolutely loves her job. She is willing, eager to work, and will work her heart out for her rider. She has that natural desire to get in there and do her job, and you can tell she genuinely enjoys it. But what makes Hope truly special isn’t just what she has accomplished — it’s who she is. Hope has the silliest, sweetest personality and truly bonds with her person. She loves attention and becomes part of your family. You can ride her bareback, take her to events, haul her places, and enjoy her in so many different settings. She: • Loads and trailers beautifully - does require her to turn around to exit the trailer. • Stands well for the farrier • Has no rear, buck, or bite • Is experienced in busy show and competition environments • Has been hauled extensively through OHSET • Loves working cattle and gives her rider her all • Bonds closely with her people • Is truly one of a kind ❤️ FULL DISCLOSURE: Hope does require some routine maintenance to keep her comfortable and feeling her best. She requires shoes on all four feet year-round, receives one Equioxx tablet daily, and needs her stifles injected approximately once a year. I want to be completely transparent about her maintenance needs so her next owner can continue giving her the care she deserves. Finding the right home is far more important to me than finding the first buyer. I will be extremely selective about where Hope goes. Being the first person interested does not mean you will be the person who gets her. She is not “just a horse” to us. She is a member of our family, and I want someone who will love her, care for her, and appreciate just how special she is. If you are seriously interested and think you may be the right fit for Hope, please send me a private message and tell me a little about yourself, your riding experience, and the home you would be providing for her. Serious inquiries only. The right home is an absolute must.
