Meet Gunner, a striking 5-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding standing at 15.2 hands with a gorgeous bay roan coat. Gunner has been a dedicated trail horse since he was a late 2-year-old, extensively trail-ridden, and shown in plenty of fun shows.
Gait & Performance: Excellent at performing the running walk with lots of reach and a big head shake, entirely free of the rough camel walk seen in some horses. He features a smooth one-step lope, neck reins, backs up, and will ride anywhere in the gallery.
Trail & Field Trial Experience: Heavily experienced with field trialing, traffic safety, steep terrain, and water crossings. He has been heavily squirrel-hunted off of, is good with gunfire, and handles dogs well.
Ground Manners & Handling: Easy to load and unload, shoe, bathe, and stands wonderfully for mounting, dismounting, and the farrier.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official equine soundness examination from O'Brien Veterinary Hospital (John L. O'Brien, Jr., D.V.M.) dated July 20, 2026, confirming normal heart, lungs, eyes, and joint flexion tests with no abnormalities found, and declaring him sound of wind, limb, and sight. He also carries a negative Coggins test dated January 2026.
Pleasure-loving, smooth-gaited, and thoroughly experienced, Gunner is ready to be your next reliable trail partner or show mount!
