Bentley is a 4 year old, 17 hand, draft gelding with a heart of gold. If “gentle giant” were a job, he’d be overqualified. He’s the kind of horse who makes you feel safe before you’ve even swung a leg over. He has that rare combination of an impressive presence and a truly soft-hearted personality. Whether you’re looking for a trusty partner, a confidence-builder, or simply a giant best friend, he’s got all the right qualities.

In the barn, Bentley is an outstanding citizen. He is extremely easy to handle, which allows people with any level of experience able to be around him! He has beautiful ground manners and completely respects your space. Patience is Bentley's biggest virtue, as he will stand anywhere, tied or untied, quietly. Bentley loves to be brushed and groomed, he will almost fall asleep from being so relaxed! He stands calmly for tacking up and is easy to bridle. Does not mind fly spray and enjoys bath time. Hauling is a breeze with Bentley as he is super easy to load and unload. In the field he is low in the pecking order, he minds his business and is happy to just eat his grass.

In the arena, Bentley is an absolute dream to ride. He is dead quiet, calm and steady, and ridiculously uncomplicated. Bentley is quiet and easy enough for anyone to ride. Wether you have been riding for 40 years, or just 40 minutes, Bentley will take care of you. This big guy has an incredibly comfortable ride, you'll never want to hop off of him! He will walk, trot, and canter on a loose rein. He could not care less about a tarp being wrapped around him and is very hard to phase. He is absolutely kid safe and is such a babysitter. He is a true gentleman.

On the trail, Bentley is everything you could want in a horse and a total trail master. He’s confident, steady, and completely trustworthy, taking everything in stride without missing a beat. Whether he’s leading the way, following along, or riding out alone, Bentley makes every trail ride feel like the best part of your day. Outside of the ring Bentley keeps the same temperament as he does everywhere else, QUIET. He enjoys exploring the forrest and is happy to take his time navigating through any obstacles. Bentley will ride on a loose rein through brush, over grates, bridges, through creeks and streams, and is traffic safe. He is dependable and is easy enough for anyone to hack out on, day 1 rider or life time rider.

Bentley is truly the whole package. He’s the kind of horse that checks every box and then somehow finds a few more.
