Meet Big Jake (BJ), an impressive 3-year-old golden palomino gelding standing at an imposing 16.3 1/2 hands tall. Professionally trained by Mike Fayne Training Stables and Tommy Loid Training Stables, BJ combines size, beauty, and an exceptional temperament. Trail & National Forest Experience: Extensively trail ridden throughout Kentucky and Tennessee national forests. He handles climbing up and down banks, tight woods, and heavy traffic with zero panic, possessing the endurance to ride all day long. Field Trial & Working Dogs: Experienced in riding and working bird dogs, making him an excellent field trial horse to handle and work dogs, as well as being great in the gallery. He can lead the herd, ride in the back end, or leave the herd entirely. Bombproof & Kid-Safe: Recently served as a fill-in horse for extremely novice riders under the age of 6 during birthday parties, where children loved on and petted him all over. Completely desensitized to heavy machinery, noise, bubbles, crowds, and gunfire. Temperament & Personality: A very personable and friendly "people horse" who will meet you at the gate in the pasture or stall. Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official equine soundness examination from O'Brien Veterinary Hospital (John L. O'Brien, Jr., D.V.M.) dated August 16, 2021, confirming normal vital signs (temp 100.2°, pulse 36, resp 14), excellent condition with no lesions or swellings, and normal eyes, teeth, heart, lungs, and movement at rest and in motion.
