Meet Rooster, a true red roan 15.0-hand quarter mule with a great temperament who has been an absolute go-to mount. Trail & Mountain Experience: Extensively trail ridden with many other mules on overnight camping trips. He crosses logs and water with ease, can lead the pack or ride in the back on a loose rein, and stands on a pick line. Mountain Packing & Dogs: Has been in the mountains hunting as a pack mule, and you can lead dogs right off of him. Ranch & Riding Versatility: Experienced in the feedlot pushing and driving cattle. He drives, has been shown in Western and English, will lope circles, takes both leads, and has a sweet little jog. He also moves off your legs, backs, side-passes, and turns in either direction. Ground Manners: Usually the first to meet you at the gate, loads and unloads great, and stands quietly for the farrier, baths, and clipping. Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official health inspection from Dr. Samantha Stapleton, DVM dated April 23, 2025, noting a cooperative demeanor during inspection, clear heart and lung sounds, normal abdominal sounds, a healthy body condition score of 5, and no evidence of lameness.
