This gorgeous girl has exceptional gaits, beautiful suspension and a floaty trot. She is being offered as broodmare sound only as she had an injury to her lower front left leg as a youngster which has proven to limit how much she can be ridden. While she has been started under saddle, her leg isn’t doing for weight bearing activity and she gets more off after work.
Starting her, her mind was fabulous. She is easy to train. Movement was intuitive for her. She was willing and a “yes please, what’s next?” kind of horse. She soaked up everything I showed her. The combo of her temperament, willingness and smart mind made her a treat to train.
Sonja is maiden, her owner had health issues that distracted the owner from her intended plans to breed Sonja.
She has good bone, good feet, straight legs (except for the old injury) and good confirmation.
Easily trailers, stands tied, good for the farrier and vet, good for bathing.
Her owner is a motivated seller as she is moving out of state and would like to see Sonja placed asap. She’s open to offers.
