Meet Deal Me Jacks, a 3-year-old registered Tennessee Walking Horse chestnut gelding standing at 16 hands tall with a striking flaxen mane and tail. Sired by WGC Arm's Deal For Real with top-tier lineage like Gen's Armed & Dangerous and Pride's Gold Coin, he is described as a truly once-in-a-lifetime horse with an amazing mind.
Gait & Riding Performance: Jacks has a beautifully natural headset, gaits wonderfully, and features a smooth, relaxed lope that can be initiated right from a standstill position. He is broke for any level rider, and his trainers welcome inexperienced riders to try him.
Advanced Desensitization & Training: He is broke to gunfire—specifically AR-15 live ammo—allowing you to shoot a gun around him while he is ground-tied or right from his back. He parks out easily, lays down so you can mount from the ground, side-passes to a mounting block, rides double, pulls a cart, ponies other horses, and swims in deep water.
Trail & Crowd Experience: Extensively trail ridden across Kentucky and Tennessee, he handles heavy highway traffic, semis, construction and farm equipment, and motorcycles with ease. He does wonderfully in a crowd, is not herd-bound, and recently participated in the gallery at the 123rd National Bird Dog Championship riding alongside 75+ horses. He is also trained to exercise bird dogs.
Ground Manners & Handling: Easy to catch in a stall or field, he stands great for grooming, saddling, clipping, bathing, and farriers, and loads/unloads smoothly with or without a ramp.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official examination from O'Brien Veterinary Hospital (John L. O'Brien, Jr., D.V.M.) dated March 4, 2022, confirming normal flexion and heart tests, and noting that an old splint on the inside of the left front is set, cold, and poses no problem, making him sound of wind, limb, and sight.
