Meet Rocky, a 12-year-old chocolate Rocky Mountain gelding featuring a mixed mane and tail. He has been trail-ridden his entire life and possesses the energy to go all day long. Performance & Terrain: Rocky has a great gait and easily comes back down into a walk. He is comfortable in water, woods, and climbs any terrain in front of him with a powerful motor, handling water banks, logs, and dirt piles with ease. Handling & Ground Manners: He loads, clips, shoes, hauls, backs, saddles, and bridles wonderfully without any issues. He is not bossy, gets along great with other horses on the trail, and has a personable temperament. His hooves are in excellent condition and easily handled. Desensitization & Traffic: Trained at Loid Stables, he is broke to ride right beside heavy traffic, including semi-trucks and motorcycles. He has also been recently introduced to gunfire and responded very well. Rider Level Recommendation: He is a stout, gentle horse well-suited for an intermediate to experienced range of rider. Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official examination from O'Brien Veterinary Hospital (John L. O'Brien, Jr., D.V.M.) dated October 18, 2021, recording a temperature of 99°F, pulse of 32, and respiration of 10. The exam confirmed he is in excellent condition with no lesions or swellings, normal movement at rest and in motion, and normal eyes, teeth, heart, and lungs, certifying him sound of wind, limb, and sight.
