Meet Tonka, a 2022 model 13.2-hand sorrel Appaloosa Quarter Pony gelding featuring a strip, 4 white stockings, and an eye-catching Appaloosa blanket. Stocky enough for adults to ride while being steady enough for kids or grandkids, he pairs flashy color with a super quiet, calm mind.
Arena Performance & Riding: Tonka is well-trained and handy under saddle. He moves off seat and leg pressure, picks up both leads, lopes cute circles, pops over jumps, and rides in both Western and English tack. He features super smooth transitions and makes flying lead changes look easy.
Driving, Cattle & Trail Experience: In addition to riding, Tonka has been hooked to a cart and driven around the farm. He helps work cattle, rides quietly down trails, crosses logs, water, and bridges with ease, and is completely safe in heavy road traffic.
Temperament & Suitability: Safe for almost any level of rider, Tonka is an absolute joy to have around whether in the arena, on the road, or out on the trail.
Veterinary & Soundness: Confirmed 100% sound.
