Meet Rita, a 9-year-old sorrel Quarter Horse mare standing 14.3 hands tall with a blaze. She is a pretty-headed, well-muscled, and well-conformed mare who is truly beginner-safe, kid-broke, and grandma-approved!
4-H & Performance Experience: Rita has been used extensively in 4-H for all events and is ridden in both Western and English tack. She has carried the American flag, had guns shot off her, and is a true confidence-building partner best suited for beginner to intermediate riders.
Trail & Desensitization: Trail-ridden all over the Midwest, she is sure-footed in the mountains and crosses water without hesitation. Completely traffic-safe, she is unfazed by cattle, wildlife, game reserve animals, tractors, and skid loaders. She has zero spook and zero buck.
Manners & Camping: Rita stands like a statue for mounting and dismounting. She has impeccable ground manners, stands perfectly for the farrier, and can be trusted to stand tied on a picket line during overnight camping trips for weeks at a time.
Veterinary Inspection & Health: Backed by an official pre-sale physical examination from Five Points Veterinary Care LLC (Adria Anderson, DVM) dated August 10, 2026. The exam recorded normal vitals (temp 99.8°F, pulse 30, respiration 20), normal eyes, ears, mouth, skin, and urogenital system, with no indications of lameness or laminitis and all limbs noted as normal ("N"). She sells 100% sound with no vices, and is up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and farrier work.
