Gus is a paint Belgian cross. He’s a year and a half old and very cuddly. He leads, ties, picks up all four feet and is good for trimming. I’ve gotten him to wear saddle pads, but no girths yet. I’ve had him since he was six months old. I rescued him from an abusive situation where he was hit and starved. Our vets said he was about two weeks away from passing of starvation. Because of this, he is afraid of strangers. He is the cuddliest horse you’ll ever meet once he knows you. I’ve been doing all of his hoof care myself, but our farrier has met him and said with time he’d do great. Unfortunately with college and having two horses, I just can’t keep up financially and I need to sell one. He is UTD on everything.
