Genever Maan (Juniper Moon), known as Juniper in the barn, is an 8 year old, 16.0H, KFPS registered Friesian mare. Juniper has a comfortable and correct walk, trot, and canter under saddle, and has previously schooled lateral work as well. Over the last year, she has spent most of her time under saddle out on the trails. She is not at all a spooky horse - at new places she is quiet and calm, and has been exposed to cattle and deer, making her very enjoyable to trail ride!

Juniper is a safe, fun, and beautiful horse! She has great ground manners, standing quietly for grooming, bathing, shoeing, vet work, and loading in the trailer. Currently, she is in front shoes with toe clips, and is barefoot behind. She enjoys having her mane braided and getting scratches on her withers.

Her sire, Eise 489 is a prominent stallion in the Friesian breeding lines, known for producing beautiful movers that are very successful in dressage. Her dam line consists of a number of phenomenal driving horses, in addition to lovely, kind riding horses.

The ideal home for Juniper would be someone that loves her and is looking for a safe horse that they can enjoy day in and day out, both on the ground and in the saddle. She does not have competition experience, but her calm demeanor will likely lend itself to being a good horse to compete on occasionally. Juniper enjoys some variety, working both in and out of the arena and on the trails.

Juniper is located in Spokane, Washington, just 10 minutes from the Spokane International Airport, making for an easy trip to see her from any location!
