Meet JJ (JJ Shiney Playgun), a 2021 registered AQHA sorrel gelding standing 15.0 hands tall with four white stockings, a strip, and elite royalty pedigree. He combines top-tier cow horse bloodlines—Playgun and Freckles Playboy on top with Two Eyed Red Buck and Shining Spark on the bottom—with an easygoing, steady personality.
Arena Performance & Bloodlines: JJ picks up both leads, moves smoothly off seat and leg cues, tackles obstacle courses like an old pro, and is starting over low jumps. His pleasant, adaptable disposition makes him a reliable mount for multiple riders without causing a fuss.
Trail & Competition Experience: Ridden on roads, farm trails, and in trail horse competitions. He confidently crosses logs, water, brush, and any obstacle in his path.
Ground Manners & Handling: Stands patiently for the farrier and loads/unloads in and out of the trailer with no problem.
Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official purchase examination from Black Rock Equine Clinic (Dr. Gary Fouts, DVM) updated to October 2, 2026. The exam noted overall condition as good, clear eyes and lungs, normal temperature (100.2°F), pulse 36, respiration 18, negative on all 4 hoof testers, and no lameness seen in hand or on the lunge line. Flexion tests (LF fetlock/coffin, LF carpus, LR full limb) showed no change, and he was certified sound.
