Meet Pretty Boy Floyd ("Money"), a 15.1-hand red and white spotted gaited John mule. Money is a once-in-a-lifetime animal who is extremely gentle, easy to handle, and acts as an in-your-pocket type companion. Riding & Gaits: Money is broke to work and ride the best. He is gaited and can easily keep up with gaited horses, or lope like a pleasure horse and take both leads. He is very cautious in the woods on steep or rocky areas and can be ridden anywhere in the pack on a loose rein. You can even shoot a gun off his back. Work & Hunting Experience: Money has extensive experience working cattle, doing tons of wagon riding, hunting, and packing while hunting. Ground Manners & Handling: He is shod all the way around, and was extremely easy to shoe, clip, and bathe. He stands quietly for mounting and dismounting, is not buddy- or barn-sour, and doesn't paw the ground like most mules. Veterinary Inspection: Backed by an official wellness and soundness examination from Spencer Creek Veterinary Clinic (John H. Eubank, DVM) updated to June 16, 2026. The exam verified a normal temperature of 99.2°F, normal heart and lung auscultation with no murmurs, normal gut sounds, and normal eyes. Hoof testers applied to all four hooves showed no pain or tenderness, and all four legs were hyperflexed with the mule trotting off showing zero signs of pain or hesitation. He exhibited normal gait and movement while being ridden.
