Meet Ember, a 14.3hh, 12-year-old Quarter Horse Cross mare! If you're looking for your next all-around, fun best friend, Ember is the mare for you. She has an easy walk/trot in the ring and will go over poles, cross rails, or whatever you point her at with no issues. She's not spooky, hacks out alone and with others, and goes in both western and English tack. Ember's one funny quirk is that she doesn't easily pick up the canter in the ring. She canters just fine out in a field or on the trail, but in the ring you really have to push for it in either direction, and she will get fussy. She's not for a complete beginner and would be ideal for an intermediate young adult or adult amateur with a soft hand and the basics down. I believe she'd be happiest with someone who wants to do a lot of trail riding, hunter paces, and riding out with a lighter focus in the ring, or someone with the patience to keep improving her flatwork. She turns out with mares or geldings and is middle of the pack. Up to date on teeth, Coggins, shots, and farrier, with no vices. Text 540-226-9921 for more videos and pictures!
