17 Years Old | $3,500 OBO | Jefferson, Georgia
Meet Mateo, a striking black Morgan/Friesian-type gelding with a beautiful presence, substantial build, and athletic ability.
Mateo has a professional training background and is an intelligent, sensitive horse who would be best suited to a confident, knowledgeable, experienced horseperson.
He has not been ridden in approximately 2½ to 3 years, so he will need an experienced rider or trainer to patiently bring him back into work. His previous training provides a foundation for someone willing to invest the time in getting reacquainted with him under saddle.
Mateo has been barefoot and has had no hoof issues during the four years I've owned him.
He is not being offered as a beginner's horse or a currently finished riding horse. He needs someone who understands horses, appreciates his athleticism, and can offer him consistency and a lasting home.
Asking $3,500 or best reasonable offer.
Finding the right home is extremely important. Serious inquiries from experienced horse owners are welcome.
