Eddie is an 11 year old 14.2 hand gelding with exceptional bloodlines and a whole lot of talent and experience. We've owned him since he was 5 and his primary use has been as a heel horse. However, he has also been used on the ranch and is a top notch ranch horse in all aspects. From gathering to branding to sorting, he has been a go-to horse for all of it. Additionally, he has been to all of the local ranch rodeos, where he performs well in every event due to his willingness and athleticism. Athletic, responsive, and equipped with all the buttons, Eddie gives 100% to everything he does.
Eddie has developed arthritis in his hocks. It is being managed by twice annual hock injections and the Equiox supplement. Since heeling has been his primary job in our home we've made the decision to find him a home with a less demanding workload on his joints so he can continue to enjoy a long, productive life.
Eddie is a very well mannered, sensitive guy who always wants to do the right thing. He can hang out in the pasture for months and he will be the same, dependable horse even after extended time off.
