* Smart, willing, responsive Hans is a handsome gelding that has tons of potential. He genuinely loves people, is fond of attention, and forms a strong bond with his rider. He loves having a job, enjoys regular work and thrives with consistency. Under saddle he is sensitive and intelligent, willing to work, enjoys repetition, and is eager to learn. He does best with a confident intermediate to advanced rider that communicates clearly and rides with feel. Amazing movement under saddle, ground covering trot, and very comfortable floating canter. Great on trail! Hans would be best suited to a confident rider who enjoys training and who is looking for a lifelong partner. Hans enjoys flatwork and would do very well with someone that wants to continue his training in dressage. With a little more refinement in transitions he could easily be at training level. Hans is out of Shady Grove Haflinger lines. Hans needs a forage based diet, and needs to live on a track or dry lot. He has a tendency to be overweight if not managed appropriately. With his previous owner Hans had a bout of laminitis. After I took him home 3 years ago, I corrected his diet and environment and since then he has been sound, happy and thriving. Don’t let his past deter you, he is fully rehabbed and ready for his forever home and ready to show off his beauty in the ring. * Trained to drive as 2 yr old * Easy to load * Stands for farrier * Lunges * Stands for grooming, saddling, and mounting * UTD on dental, shots, coggins and farrier * Barefoot * PPE at buyers expense
