Meet Pepper, a dream 5-year-old solid black pony gelding standing 8.2 hands (34 inches) tall and weighing 220 lbs. Pepper is the ultimate kid's pony—exceptionally quiet, gentle, safe, and bombproof in every way, giving young riders the confidence and foundation to learn and grow.
Ride & Drive Versatility: Pepper rides and drives fantastically! He is a true point-and-go pony under saddle whether teaching a beginner in the arena or heading out on trail rides alone or in large groups. He is also incredibly easy to hitch and drive, making him fun for the whole family.
Dependable Trail & Away-from-Home Manners: Pepper has been taken off-property numerous times for trail rides and events, proving to be just as calm, quiet, and reliable away from home as he is in his own backyard.
Ground Manners & Handling: Stands beautifully for grooming, tacking, bathing, clipping, saddling, vet care, and farrier work. Loads and trailers easily with zero fuss.
Veterinary Inspection: Accompanied by a Health Report Card from Advanced Equine of the Hudson Valley (Jeremy Frederick, DVM) dated October 13, 2026, confirming normal vitals (temp 98.9°F, HR 44, RR 14), ideal body condition, and an overall healthy assessment, along with an official negative GVL EIA Coggins certificate issued October 6, 2026.
