UNA — A RARE FRIESIAN 2-FOR-1 OPPORTUNITY!
Elegant. Exceptional. Full of Promise. Two Generations of Friesian Excellence.
What if you could purchase an elegant young Friesian mare and bring home a foal whose value alone could justify the investment?
Meet Una — a breathtaking opportunity for the discerning Friesian enthusiast!
Una is a tall, elegant young Friesian mare with a beautiful, expressive face, a lovely mane, and the kind of presence that makes you stop and look twice. Standing just under 16.1 hands and still growing, she offers eye-catching size, feminine refinement, and powerful, expressive movement.
But Una’s greatest asset may be the one you cannot measure with a stick.
Her temperament is absolutely to die for!
TWO HORSES. ONE EXTRAORDINARY OPPORTUNITY.
Una is in foal to Kanne 534, an approved Friesian stallion, with her foal due March 14, 2027.
That means this remarkable mare represents the potential of TWO horses in one purchase: Una herself and her valuable Friesian foal.
For the buyer looking to build a quality breeding program, expand a Friesian collection, or simply enjoy the excitement of welcoming a new generation, this is an opportunity worth serious consideration. The anticipated value of the foal alone is worth half of Una’s purchase price, making this a particularly compelling proposition.
BEAUTY, MOVEMENT & A MIND THAT WANTS TO PLEASE
Una is a slightly lighter-built mare, not a chunky short legged broodmare, with an elegant outline and naturally powerful movement. She has the raw ingredients to develop into a truly special riding partner with the right training and continued development, and she already has a solid dressage foundation.
Height: 16 1/2 hands and still growing
Age: Born February 28, 2022
Riding: Dressage foundation; EXCELLENT on trails outside the arena
Movement: Strong, expressive, and full of potential
Temperament: Kind, sensible, willing, and wonderfully cooperative
Breeding: In foal to Kanne 534, due Mar 14, 2027
Una is not being presented as a finished, high-level dressage horse. Instead, she offers something equally important: a solid dressage foundation, a thoughtful mind, and a genuine willingness to work with her rider, and we think she REALLY has STER potential!
Be sure to watch her riding video in the forest!
You will see a mare who is not just beautiful, but sensible and willing. Una thinks, takes in her surroundings, and works with her rider. That combination of temperament, movement, and potential is precisely what makes a young horse exciting to develop.
A PEDIGREE THAT DESERVES ATTENTION
Una's pedigree adds another compelling dimension to this opportunity.
Her bloodlines feature an impressive maternal line with unbroken Ster predicates, along with a low inbreeding coefficient of just 0.78% and low kinship--meaning you can breed her to just about any stallion! .See https://www.blacksterlingfriesians.com/ for details!
