Pepper is a stout, good-minded AQHA bay mare with 150 days of professional training and a great foundation for ranch sorting or cowhorse competition. Her training began with natural horsemanship, including extensive groundwork, obstacles, and ground poles. She confidently trots through poles and backs through them beautifully. Under saddle, she walks, trots, and canters, draws around nicely, moves off your leg, and has started rollbacks. Pepper has been hauled to multiple sorting practices, where she’s entered the herd, sorted numbered cattle, and brought them to the gate. She’s also worked the flag and pushed cattle. She’s also been ridden at Garwood Arena around other horses and crowds. I’ve raised Pepper since she was three months old, and she’s received daily attention and consistent handling. She’s easy to catch, usually first to the gate, and genuinely enjoys being around people. She clips, stands tied patiently, loads, hauls, and is good for the vet and farrier. Regular dental care, sound, and no maintenance. Her pedigree includes Paddys Irish Whiskey, Shining Spark, High Brow Hickory, and Haidas Little Pep.
