Here he is! Pretty, quiet, easy going and no weird quirks. Oliver is a handsome, thick-built WIDE grullo gelding with the heart of a puppy dog and the soul of an old man!
Oliver is the definition of MORE WHOA THAN GO! He's built like a little draft horse, has a wonderful puppy-dog personality, and genuinely doesn't believe life should be lived in a hurry.
He's not complicated, mean, sour, or spooky. He's just LAZY! And we love him that way.
Born and raised right here on our 125-acre ranch, he's had one owner his entire life and has been exceptionally well cared for. We ride him throughout our property, through the hills and over varied terrain during all season on our property. We've never taken him off the ranch, not because of any behavioral issues or limitations, but simply because we've never had a reason to because the property is one big trail ride for us.
With his gorgeous grullo coloring, Friesian heritage, substantial drafty build, and wonderful temperament he is a perfect addition to someone looking for a more whoa than go horse that they just want to love on and go on a nice pleasure ride.
We simply don't have the time into hauling him to different locations, riding public trails, or exposing him off property but with all the mileage he has had here he is a solid gelding.
