Annie is a grade red roan QH mare that vets aged at about 18-20, stands around 14.3 hands. Shes a rockstar on the trails, loves to just walk out and go, and loves water. She’s competed in youth rodeo, OHSET & playdays. Mostly used for gaming events, goat tying, team sorting, drill (with flags), and a few performance events. She qualified to state in birangle & drill. She’s also been ridden extensively on trails. She’s also carried flags in the grand entry at most of the youth rodeos. Annie is a sweet girl with a good disposition. She can be pastured with other mares or geldings and does great. She is not very mare-ish at all, which is super nice! Bathes, stands tied, behaves for farrier, hauls great (loads & unloads safely), keeps well in a stall or panels. She is pastured in the summer and in the wet/muddy month she is out to pasture during the day & stalled at night. Does well when ridden consistently or even of she has some time off and then you jump back on her she doesn’t skip a beat. Has never offered to rear or buck with us. We’ve thrown very beginner riders on her for trail rides and she’s done great. Only quirk is she can get attached to a buddy, she’s not unsafe buddy sour - just calls out for them a lot if her buddy horse leaves her at the trailer or in the barn alone or paws when tied and left behind. UTD on vaccines (due late spring) and worming. Sound, only got ouchy on us once when she had an abscess. She has gotten ulcers on us before so we feed her Purina outlast daily, and give her a omeprazole when hauling or in stressful situations. Currently shod, and we’ve kept shoes on her while we’ve had her. Would excel in a trail riding or OHSET/WAHSET, 4H, or Playday/Gaming home. I bet she’d be a good candidate for a rodeo queen horse, between the grand entries and flag carrying, she loves to run but also chills out and stands. I’m sure she’d be great in parades but haven’t taken her in one. PPE’s welcome at buyers expense. Not interested in leasing or trades. Lots more photos and videos, please reach out and I’ll be happy to send them!
