Just like the legendary Texas Ranger Woodrow F. Call, from Lonesome Dove, our Woodrow is no stranger to big country, rugged mountains, and long days on the trail. But unlike Captain Call, this Woodrow doesn’t believe in getting in a hurry about anything! Introducing Woodrow, a 10-year-old, 15.3-hand, STOUT BUILT, john mule with the experience of a seasoned frontiersman, the patience of a saint, and the kind of steady, dependable disposition that makes every adventure an absolute pleasure!
Whether you’re headed deep into the backcountry, climbing steep mountain trails, navigating rugged wilderness in pursuit of big game, or simply meandering down beautifully manicured trails on a relaxing Sunday afternoon, Woodrow handles it all with the same calm, confident attitude. He’s comfortable traveling through rough, rocky terrain, crossing creeks, navigating narrow mountain paths, stepping over fallen timber, and making his way up and down steep hillsides. From challenging backcountry adventures to leisurely rides through the countryside, Woodrow is right at home wherever the trail takes him.
One of Woodrow’s greatest qualities is his incredibly laid-back, easygoing disposition. This mule is NEVER in a hurry! He’s perfectly content taking his time, watching where he puts his feet, and allowing his rider to sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenery.
What makes Woodrow even more special is his consistency. Whether you saddle him every single morning or pull him out of the pasture after sitting for an entire year, he’s the same quiet, dependable mule you rode the last time.
